All wood products are designed and manufactured in Italy to ensure quality, utility and safety for the consumer.
Certifications
Foppapedretti holds a long series of patents that have made its products unique and, although much imitated, inimitable in terms of functionality and refined design. Together with total quality, safety has always been the first objective. All products comply with European Union standards and certifications.
Wood
It is the main material for all products, 100% natural and ecological. The company only uses timber from certified geographical areas and from forests whose reforestation is controlled by local regulations and verified by forestry bodies.
Recycling
During the processing stages, all wood waste is recovered and, by means of an elaborate process, reused as fuel for heating factories, offices and powering some production plants. In addition, the air inside the plants is continuously extracted and, through dust recovery, filtered and returned to the production environment.
Quality
Products that last over time thanks to the choice of the best materials. For wood, quality is synonymous with ecology: by lasting over time, Foppapedretti products allow wood from protected forests to regenerate.
Water-based paints
The ecological commitment is not limited to wood. Foppapedretti uses non-toxic water-based varnish in collaboration with the company Icro Coatings: a demanding choice from an economic point of view, but one that guarantees a drastic reduction in harmful emissions into the environment, extreme safety for the operators involved, a guarantee of non-toxicity for the consumer, recovery and reintegration of the varnish residues.
Ecological commitment
Foppapedretti supports the projects of the non-profit association Bioforest on reforestation and environmental recovery to promote a production culture that is more sensitive to the environment and make a concrete contribution to safeguarding natural resources. In addition, the company is FSC® certified (License Code FSC-C004369), a mark that identifies products containing wood from forests managed correctly and responsibly according to strict environmental, social and economic standards.

The company was founded in 1945 producing toys to make the little ones happy and, still today, we try to satisfy the needs of children and their parents by making safe and top quality products, respecting the environment where the little ones, who represent the future, grow up and become adults.
We were among the first to make wooden high chairs and today we are an important reference point for cots, bedroom furniture and changing tables. Just think that our "il Sediolone", Foppapedretti's iconic product, has sold more than a million pieces in Italy alone.

Since there is never enough space in the home, in addition to the characteristics of functionality, practicality and safety that every Foppapedretti item must have, there is also the minimum space required.
In fact, each product is foldable and once closed takes up very little space to disappear easily into small corners of the house when not in use.
The supporting structures are made of solid wood, for durability. To improve functionality, other quality materials are also used: for example, stainless steel for indestructible joints and joints, rubber for non-deformable safety profiles and floor-friendly castors.
Among the bestsellers, the solid and very practical "Asso" ironing board, which folds away when not needed, taking up little space, our sturdy and practical ladders conforming to European Standard EN 131 and TUV SUD certified to guarantee product safety. Another iconic product is the ""Gulliver"" clothes airer, with no less than 27 metres of wire for hanging laundry that, as if by magic, folds up in just 14 centimetres.
